The “Nuit des Étudiants du Monde”
This international evening event is free of charge and welcomes foreign students to the start of the university year. Be sure to attend The “Nuit des Étudiants du Monde” (World Students Night), which is organized each year by Lyon Métropole and its partners!
What is the NEM?
A free, festive evening to connect all the cultures of the student world, offered by the City and Metropolis of Lyon.
Who is it for?
The evening is reserved exclusively for students, primarily international students. Come and fly the flag for the many nationalities that make up the student community of the Metropolis of Lyon!
When?
The NEM is held every academic year. For the 2025/2026 academic year, join us on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where?
The evening takes place at Marché Gare, a concert hall dedicated to contemporary music, located in the heart of Lyon, in Lyon 2nd, near Confluence and Perrache. Access via TCL: T1, Sainte-Blandine stop.
How to participate?
If you are an international student, register online here. Admission is subject to digital or printed registration.
Your invitation entitles you to activities, concerts, the community village, and access to the buffet with a complimentary drink.
What's on the program?
A festive evening starting at 7 p.m. with quizzes, concerts, a community village, and a snack:
- Speaking sessions at 8 p.m.
- Community Village (Nightline / UDL Ambassadors - SWD / Cop1 / ESN / Lyon International) from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Quiz with prizes to be won from 9:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Concerts:
> Selma Kara (pop) from 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
> Radical Ronron (super groovy electro-rock) from 9:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
