A not-to-miss event for back-to-school!

Every year in October, Lyon Métropole and the City of Lyon, in partnership with Villeurbanne, organize a convivial and entertaining event that is free of charge (by invitation) and welcomes international students!

The "NEM"(“Nuit des Étudiants du Monde”, or World Students Night) is:

  • An evening of concerts and dancing

  • A village of student associations to welcome you

  • International games, a photo booth and surprises and gifts to win all night long!

  • There’s room for over 2,000 students at the Transbordeur, the emblematic Lyon Métropole concert hall.

The “Nuit des Étudiants du Monde”: a success throughout France

Created at Lyon in 2002, The “Nuit des Étudiants du Monde” is now celebrated in 23 university cities throughout France! Similar welcome events are now organized everywhere in France in cities with the AVUF label.
